Total outcomes=1000
1) Frequency of head=455
Favourable outcomes=455
P. of head=455/1000
=0.455
2) Favourable outcomes=545
P. of tail=545/1000
=0.545

The probability of head is 0.455 and the probability of tail is 0.545.

Given:

Total outcomes = 1000

Frequency of head = 455

Frequency of tails = 545

i) The probability of heads =\frac{\text {Number of time head drawn}}{\text {Total number of times tossed}}

                   \begin{aligned} &=\frac{455}{1000} \\ &=0.455 \end{aligned}

ii) Probability of tail =\frac{\text { Number of time tail drawn }}{\text { Total number of times tossed }}

                   \begin{array}{l}{=\frac{545}{1000}} \\ {=0.545}\end{array}

In this question we were asked to find out the probability of all the ‘possible outcomes’. The ‘two possible outcomes’ while tossing a coin are occurrence of heads and occurrence of tails. Therefore, we have considered these two possibilities and calculated the result accordingly.
