A compan has 11 softwatre engineers and 7 civil engineers how many way can they be seated in a row so that all the cvil wngineers do not sit together

here is ur answer.........................
total ways of sitting=11!*7!
no. of ways in which civil engineers  sit together=12!*7!
so,
the total no. of ways in which they do not sit together=11!*7!-(12!*7!)
                                                                                    =7!(11!-12!)ways
