For the cone,
radius, r = 2.1cm
height, h = 8.4 cm

For the sphere,
radius = R

Cone is melted and recast into sphere.
So, Volume of sphere = Volume of cone
∴ 4/3 π R³ = 1/3 π r² h
∴4 R³ = r² h
∴4 R³ = 2.1² * 8.4
∴R³ = 2.1² * 8.4 / 4
∴R³ = 2.1² * 2.1
∴R³ = 2.1³
∴R = 2.1 cm

Thus, radius of the sphere is 2.1 cm.

hope it helps ya....☝️

Answer:

2.1 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

When the cone is melted and recast the shape only changes but the volume doesn't change

Therefore,

Volume of the cone = Volume of the sphere

1/3(\pi x r^2 x h) = 4/3(\pi x r^3)

Canceling out the similar terms on both the sides, we will be left with a equation...................

h=4r , where h is the height of the cone and r is the radius of the sphere..

Hence we can conclude that r = 2.1 meters
