Actually this is the concept of the Rigid bodies and their classifications.....
Basically if we talk about the Equilibrium. ......The equilibrium is the state at which the Body has net force acting on it as zero...thus it becomes equilibrium. .,,
There are mainly three types of equilibrium. .,,,
1) Stable Equilibrium
2) Neutral Equilibrium. ..
and
3) Unstable Equilibrium. ...
So in the given case ....the cone is held at its vertex..,..so when it is in equilibrium. .it will unbalanced from its vertex...creating the fall of it....such that it cannot reach back its equilibrium state ...so this an Best example of the UNSTABLE EQUILIBRIUM. .........
