For a convex mirror
R = 6m
f = 3m = +30cm
u = - 9 cm
We know m = f/(f - u)
Thus m = 30/( 30 + 9 )
Thus m = 30/39
thus m = + 0.7
Thus the image will be virtual, erect and diminished.
Note : The formulae I've used is no where given in NCERT it's a derived formula when you put the value of v from mirror formula to original magnification formula.
