volume of cube=12³
volume of rectangular vessel=l×b×h(cuboid)
water raised is h cm;l=15cm;b=18cm
cube is immersed in vessel
so volume of cube=volume of rectangular vessel
12³=15×18×h
h =  \frac{12 \times 12 \times 12}{15 \times 18}
so level of water raise(h)=6.4cm
