the volume of cistern is 729.
side³=729
side=√729

The area of it's base is 8100 cm².

Given data :

Volume = 729 litres = 729000 cm³

Let, the side = a cm

So,

a³ = 729000

a = 90

So, it's one side = 90 cm

Base area = (90×90) = 8100 cm² (answer)
