A cuboidal vessel is 12 cm long and 8cm wide.How high should it be made so that it may hold 480 cubic centimetre of a liquid .​

given :-

length = 12cm

breadth = 8cm

volume = 480cm³

--> l × b × h = volume

--> 12 × 8 × h = 480cm³

--> 96 × h = 480cm³

--> h = 480/96

--> h = 5cm

hence, it must be 5cm high.
