Answer:

speed =distance/time. as cyclist is riding along the periphery of circle so distance will be equal to perimeter which is equal to 2πr .

Given - Speed of cyclist = 10 m/s

Time taken to complete three rounds = 6 minutes.

Find - Radius of circular track

Solution - Distance covered in one round will be equal to circumference of circle, which is given by the formula = 2*π*r. Here r stands for radius.

Now, time taken to complete three rounds = 6 minutes

Time taken to complete one round = 6/3

Time taken to complete one round = 2 minutes.

We know, 1 minute is 60 seconds.

So, 2 minutes = 120 seconds.

Now, keeping the values in formula-

Distance covered in one round = speed * time

Distance covered = 10*120

Distance covered = 1200 metres.

Distance covered = Circumference

1200 = 2*π*r

r = 1200/2*π

r = 191 metres.

Hence, radius of circular track is 191 metres.
