Answer:

Given :

If the radius of a cylinder is 5m and height of cylinder is 21m

To find :

curved surface area of the cylinder.

Solution :

curved surface area of the cylinder = 2πrh ...... (formula)

==> 2 x 22/7 x 5 x 21

==> 2 x 22 x 5 x 3

==> 44 x 15

==> 660 m²

∴ curved surface area of the cylinder is 660 m²

Extra information :

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

T.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²

Volume of cone = ⅓ πr²h

C.S.A of cone = πrl

T.S.A of cone = πrl + πr²

Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

C.S.A of cuboid = 2(l + b)h

T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)
