hiii,
-------------

Area, A=50 cm2
height, h=20 cm
volume, V=A×h
V=50×20=1000 cm3
mass, m=1 kg
density of water, d=1 g/cm^3
mass of water column, M=Vd
M=1000×1=1000 g=1 kg
g=9.8 m/s2
Force on the bottom of jar=weight of water column+weight of given mass
F=[M+m]×g
F=(1+1)×9.8
F=2×9.8=19.6 N
Pressure exerted on the bottom surface of jar,
P = F/A
P = 19.6/50 N/cm^3
P = 19.6/50×10^-4 N/m^3
P = 3920 Pa

Hope it helps u !!!!
