R of cylindrical pipe=2m
Length of water flown in 1 min=20m
Vol. of water flown in 1 min=22/7×2×2×20=80×22/7
Vol of conical tank=1/3 × 22/7 ×40×40×72= 384 × 22/7
Let the time taken to fill conical tank be x.
So 384×22/7= 80×22/7 × x
x=48 min i.e.,time taken to fill the conical tank is 48 min.
