A. What is a Mole?
A mole is the amount of pure substance containing the same number of chemical units as there are atoms in exactly 12 grams of carbon-12 (i.e., 6.023 X 1023)
B. What are polyatomic ions?
A charged particle which has two or more atoms held together by covalent bonds.

Hi there !
1 Mole is the amount of substance present in Avogadro no: of particles.
Mass of 1 mole is known as molar mass.
Mass of 1 mole of a substance is equal to its relative atomic mass / molecular mass in grams.
1 mole of any substance has 6.022 x 10²³ particles.
This value is fixed or constant.
-----------------------------------------
Atoms or group of atoms bearing charges are known as ions
example :-
Cl⁻ , Fe²⁺ etc ....
A group of atoms carrying charges are known as poly atomic ions.
Example :- NO₃⁻
