S= {1,2,3,4,5,6}

n(S) = 6

Probability = n(event) / n (S)

prime numbers = 2,3,5

n(P) = 3

P(prime numbers) = 3/6 = 1/2

a number greater than 3 = 4,5,6

n(G) = 3

p(number greater than 3 ) = 3/6 = 1/2

Answer:

i)1/2 ii) 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

i) prime numbers in dice= 2,3,5 there are 3 prime numbers

total possible outcomes=6

probability= number of favorable outcomes/ total possible outcomes

=3/6 = 1/2

ii) numbers more than 3= 4,5,6 there are three numbers more than 3

total possible outcomes=6

probability= number of favorable outcomes/ total possible outcomes
