A dice is rolled two times. Find the probability that the 1st as even number and the second is a multiple of 3​

Answer:

The only even numbers that you can possibly get in rolling a die is 2,4 and 6

so, the in the first die we have to get 2,4 or 6...

similarly the only possible multiples of 3 in rolling a die is 3 and 6

so, in the second die we have to get 3 or 6

Looking at the possible 36 outcomes, ( in attachment)

No .of favourable outcomes=6 (circle in the picture)

total no. of outcomes =36

P(getting 1st as even number and the second is a multiple of 3)=6/36 =1/6

So your answer is 1/6
