if die is thrown once total possible outcomes is 6
getting number between 2 to 6 is 3 outcomes
probability is n(e)/n(s)

Hope it helps

favourable outcomes= 3,4,5
total outcomes= 1,2,3,4,5,6
probability= no of favourable outcomes/ total no of outcome
= 3/6
therefore probability of getting no between 2 and 6 is 3/6 or we can also say 1/2
