W = K.E. + R.E.
W = (1/2)mv² + (1/2)Iω²
W = (1/2)mv² + (1/2)mr²ω²
W = (1/2)mv² + (1/2)mv²
W = mv²
W = 100 × 0.2²
W = 4 J
Therefore, 4 J work will be required to stop the rolling disc.
