a drainage tile is a cylindrical Shell 21cm long. the inside and outside diameter are 8 cm and 10 cm respectively . what is the volume of clay required for that tile?

Height = 21cm

Volume of clay required

= pi(r2-r1) square * height...........eq1

r2-r1 = 10/2-8/2

= 2/2

= 1

From equation 1

= 22/7 (1)square * 21

= 22/7*1*21

= 22/7*21

= 66cmcube
