(a) The domestic electric wiring from an electric pole to a room and wiring for a bulb and a three-pin socket is shown in the attachment below

(b) The hazards associated with the use of electricity is as follows

  •  Electric shock is very dangerous for us sometimes a high voltage shock may cause damage to our nervous system.
  •  Sometimes the two open ends of wire having high voltage may cause ionization in the air due to which electric sparking taking place which results in massive fire.

(c) We must not be bare feet while using the electricity, in case of earthing or firing switch off the main supply, the wire must not have any cut.

(d) Pull out the fuse from main supply or switch off the main supply, we can also use any insulator like dry-wood, plastic and rubber to disturb the contact between both.

(e) As electricity is flow of charges and water contain ions (H+ and OH-) when we operate electric switches with wet hands we may get electric shock as current starts flowing through our body.
