A drop of water is poured over a white powdery substance. Then it is observed that the substances turn blue. i. Anhydrous copper sulphate CuSO4

ii. when water is added to copper sulphate it was converted into copper sulphate pentahydrate which is crystalline substance of blue colour.

iii. CuSO4.5H2O

iv. it is a neutral crystalline salt.

v. as it does not have any ionisable H+ or OH- radical.
