let the capacity be x
according to question
3x/4 -30 = 7x/12
3x/4-7x/12 = 30
(9x-7x)/12 = 30
2x/12 = 30
2x = 360
x= 360/2 = 180

hope this helps

Answer:

180

Step-by-step explanation:

let the capacity be=x

A.T.Q

3x/4-7x/12=30

L.C.M=12

By converting it 4/3=12 so, 3*3=9 and in the second fraction denominator is 12 so,no need to do anything in this. And the

(9x-7x)/12=30

2x/12=30 so 12 will go on right side and become *12

so,2x=30*12 which is equal to:

2x=360

x=360/2

x=180 L
