                                            GUILTY MIND
                                        -------------------------

Once upon a time there lived a merchant in a small village who was known for his innocent and helpful nature. He had a plot of land were he grew crops for his livelihood.

At the month of July he was hard hit by monsoon rain and the pest which destroyed the crops. He lost all his hope but he never gave up. He kept moving and that’s when a farmer approached the merchant and asked the merchant if he had some fertilizers to grow few mango trees in the farmer’s field.

The farmer also agreed to pay the whole amount with an additional 50% of the cost of the fertilizers. The merchant was surprised to here such words and found the farmers as his savior. Thinking that the farmer is trust worthy and gave the fertilizers which the farmer demanded.

Due to impatience the merchant went to the mango grove each and every day to check the mangoes. After 3 months the harvest season came and the mangoes was ready to harvest. The merchant and the farmer was very happy to see it. The greedy was took the mangoes home.

The merchant asked the farmer for payment but the farmer refused to pay. Hence disagreeing the payment. The mangoes also dint grow more than what he had yielded last year, and the fertilizer which the merchant gave was of high quality. This made the merchant upset and disgraced to such an act from the greedy farmer. The merchant understood the true colors of the farmer.

The merchant could not resist the pain and went to the court. But fate was against the merchant and the judge declared the verdict in favor of the farmer.

The merchant had no proves or witnesses to prove the court. But what he dint know was that his wife was seeing this and decided to tell the truth to the judge. It all made sense when the wife said what exactly happened and the farmer was sentenced to jail.

Moral:
Lying breaks trust. Nobody trusts a liar, even when he is telling the truth. Do not get greedy. Be happy and content with what you have.
