ANSWER:

Guar is a legume plant. It is grown prior to sowing of crop seeds because to provide the soil with proper amount of nitrogen for the next plant to use it. The rhizobium is present in the root of it and it helps in the conversion of atmospheric nitrogen into the usable nitrogen and this nitrogen is helpful for the plants to grow.

EXPLANTION:

  • Guar is a legume plant and it is used for cattle feeding.
  • Only the seed of it required for feeding as it is some what poisonous.
  • The nitrogen fixing ability help the next crop to survive and grow properly.
