A farmer has to go 500m due north, 400m due east and 200m due south to reach his field. If he takes 20minutes to reach the field, what is the average velocity of farmer during walk?​

average velocity = total displacement/total time taken

so,

the farmer had a displacement of just 500m and the time taken is 20 minutes ie (60x20=1200).

and if we divide 500/1200 = 0.14666
