Let preset age of
Son = x
Father = y
According to question
y = 3x —-(1)
After 15 years
(y + 15) = 2 * (x + 15)
y + 15 = 2x + 30
From equation (1) y = 3x
3x + 15 = 2x + 30
x = 15
Hence present age of
Son = x = 15 years
Father = y = 3x = 45 years
Son = x
Father = y
According to question
y = 3x —-(1)
After 15 years
(y + 15) = 2 * (x + 15)
y + 15 = 2x + 30
From equation (1) y = 3x
3x + 15 = 2x + 30
x = 15
Hence present age of
Son = x = 15 years
Father = y = 3x = 45 years
