volume of earth that has been dug out= 10×8×5 cu. m =400 cu.m
area of the field= 70×40
area of field where the earth is spread out= (70×40)-(10×8)= 2720 sq. m
now height of the field which is covered with the earth taken out= 2720÷400= 6.8m
