A field is in the form of a right triangle with hypotenuse 50 m and one side 30 m. Find the area of the field.

H²=s1² +s2²
50²=30²+x²
2500-900=x²
1600=x²
40²=x²
x=40
Area of triangle =½*base *height
=½*30*40
=30*20
=600 m²

HYPOTENUSE = 50 m
LET THE ONE SIDE IS ALTITUDE = 30 m


BY USING PGT
(HY)^2 = (B)^2 + ( AL) ^2
(50)^2 = (B) ^2 + (30)^ 2
2500= B^ 2 + 900
2500-900 = B^2
1600 = B^ 2
√1600 = B ^ 2
40 = B
B = 40 m


Area = 1/2 × b× h
= 1/2×40×30
= 20×30
=600 m^2 ......
