A field is in the shape of trapezium one of its parallel sides is twice the other parallel sides and distance between them is 100m if area of a field is 10500m^2 find the length of the parallel sides

=>Then longer parallel side =2x metres.

=>Height of trapezium =100 Metres

=>Area of trapezium field = 10500 m^2
=>1/2(sum of parallel sides)height=10500
=>1/2 (x+2x)×100=10500
=>3x×50=10500
=>150x=10500
=>X=10500/150
=>x=70 metres

●Shorter parallel side=70 metres.

●Longer parallel side=2×70
=140 metres.
