When shadows are cast by sun which is very very far (infinitely), they are parallel and triangles formed by shadow and vertical object are similar.
Therefore height of flagpole and its shadow will be proportional to building, whose height is say
h
and its shadow.
Hence, h/24 = 4/6
h = 4*24/6 = 16m

《I have taken tree as flag pole》
●Let the height of building be x m
Now, See the image attached.
ATQ
6/4 = 24/x
6x = 96
x = 16
So,Height of the building is 16 m
