First of all we need to find the area
Area of room = Length × breadth
= 3 × 2 = 6m²
Side of one square tile = 10cm
We need to convert it to m
10cm = 10/100 = 0.1 m
Area of one square tile = 0.1 × 0.1 = 0.01m²
Now number of tiles required to flooring it
= Area of room/area of tile
= 6/0.01
= 600 tiles
Cost of 100 tiles = ₹150
So clearly, cost of 1 tile = 150/100
Cost of 600 tiles = 150/100 × 600
= ₹900
Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️
