Here base and height of a parallelogram are given

base = 24 cm

height = 10 cm

First, we will find the area of the flooring tile

area of flooring tile = 24 × 10

                               = 240 cm²

Tiles required = area of floor / area of tile

                      = 1080 / 240

                     = 4.5

Hence, 4.5 tiles will be required to cover the floor
