2m1=100N
m1=100/2kg=50kg
f2=100N=m2a2
m2=100/4kg=25kg
when, m1 and m2 are tied together
m1+m2=(50+25)kg=75kg
f3=f2=f1=100N
let the acceleration produce be a3
then, f=ma=75×a3=100N=4/3m/s^2
