Mass of A = F/a = 5/2 kg
Mass of B = F/a= 5/5 = 1kg

total mass = 2.5+1 = 3.5 kg
acceleration = F/total mass = 5/3.5 = 1.49 m/ s^2

Meu11: Can you please explain the formula you used in this question.please
careerheights: chk now
careerheights: F= m*a
Meu11: lestien can i tell u formula written in my book to solve this question
Meu11: F=m1a1 (find m1);F=m2a2 (find m2);F=(m1+m2)a.
careerheights: yes i hv used the same
careerheights: hope you got it
Meu11: thnkew for answer
careerheights: first find m1 then find m2 now add them and find the acceleration by Force/mass
Meu11: Thank you
