(a) Metal used in making aircraft bodies is Mg-Al .

  • A combination of magnesium and aluminium is used to make light aircraft bodies.
  • Hence, P is Mg-Al.

The property of metals to be drawn into thin wires is called as Ductility.

  • Metals have a property to drawn into thin wires and it is called as Ductility.
  • Hence, R is Ductility.

(b) All ores are minerals but all minerals are not ores because:

  • Ores contain multiple impurities along with the metals like, sand, clay particles etc.
  • Hence, ores can be minerals.
  • For example: Aluminium occurs in multiple forms in earth's crust and one of it's main form is Bauxite.
  • But all minerals can't be ores because in minerals we cannot find metals, thereby we can't extract metals from minerals.
