cost price=84*(120/12)=840 rs

Selling price= 120*10=1200 rs

Profit Money =360

now

let profit percent be x

therefore

(x/100)*840=360

84x=3600

7x=300

x=42%

C.P = 84 × 10 = 840 RS.
S.P.= 10 × 120 = 1200 RS.
PROFIT = SP - CP
= 1200 - 840
= Rs. 360
PROFIT % = Profit / C.P × 100
360/ 840 × 100
42.8%
