Seller buy 2 lemons for ₹1

CP of 2 lemons=₹1

CP of 1 lemon=₹1/2

Sells 5 lemons at ₹3

SP of 5 lemons=₹3

SP of Lemon=₹3/5

He get Profit.

Profit=SP-CP

=3/5-1/2

=2×3-5×1/10. (LCM=10)

=6-5/10

=1/10

Gain=₹1/10

Gain %=Gain÷CP×100

 \frac{1}{10} \div \frac{1}{2} \times 100 \\ \\ \frac{1}{10} \times 2 \times 100 \\ \\ = 2 \times 10 \\ \\ = 20\%

 \underline{\mathbf{\huge{Gain = 20\%}}}
