a garden is 100m long and 80m broad. a path is 10m wide is built outside the garden. find the area of the path in cm2

area of garden=length*breadth so therefore. area of garden= 100*80=8000sqm as path is 10 m wide so area of rectangular garden including path is= 110*90=9900sq m. therefore area of path =9900-8000=1900sqm. coverting this area into sqcm. which is 1900*100*100=19000000sqcm
