graphite is s good conductor of electricity because like metal graphite contains delocalised electrons these electrons are free to move through the structure of graphite

  • Battery, open plug key , a bulb used in torch , a piece of graphite and copper wire.

Procedure \large \Rightarrow

  1. Take this components and connect them in a series.
  2. Now complete the circuit using the plug key (closing the plug key). You will find that bulb glows. This show that graphite is a a good conductor of electricity.
