The particles of gases are free to move .gas particles have least amount of attraction between them. Thus the particles of gases fill completely The vessel in which they are kept.

the force of attraction in molecules of gas is very less so the inter molecular space is more. Gas kept in any vessel occupies the whole space because it can slide over each other and its Kinetic energy is more. Thus it can occupy the whole space.
