● Frequency of homozygous dominant is A^2 = (0.4)^2 = 0.16

● We know that,

A + a = 1

0.4 + a = 1

a = 1 - 0.4

a = 0.6

●So, frequency of homozygous recessive allele = (0.6)^2 = 0.36

●Frequency of heterozygous allele = 2Aa

=> 2 × 0.4 × 0.6

=> 0.48
