if the length of the wire is drawn to double its length, then the length has increased double and area get reduced to half. so the resistance will be 4 times.
and then the process is repeated, so the resistance will increase 4 times. so totally, the resistance get increased by 16 times

Answer:

The length of wire is doubled on itself and so the area get reduced to half.

The resultant resistance will be 4 times.

The process is repeated and therefore the resistance will increase by 4 times. The total resistance will be increased to 16 times.
