AnswEr :

Refrence of Image is in Attachment :

DIMENSIONS OF INNER GROUND :

↦ Length = 120 - 2(3.5) = 120 - 7 = 113 m

↦ Breadth = 85 - 2(3.5) = 85 - 7 = 78 m

_______________________________

Area Required to Cover with Grass :

⇒ Area Required = Inner Area

⇒ Area Required = (l × b)

⇒ Area Required = (113 × 78)

Area Required = 8,814

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

C O S T O F C O V E R I N G :

↠ Total Cost = Required Area × Rate

↠ Total Cost = 8,814 m² × 50 Paise

↠ Total Cost = 8,814 m² × Rs. 0.5

Total Cost = Rs. 4407

Cost of Covering of Garden is Rs. 4407

\Large\bold\star\underline{\underline\textbf{Formula\:used}}

  • Area of Rectangle = Length × Width
  • Since path is all Around the rectangle, that means both sides , if we subtract width of path from both sides we will get length and breadth of inside rectangle ..

\red{\textbf{Refer To image First : - - }} \:

From image we can see that :---

→ ABCD is a bigger Rectangle

→ EFGH is a inside Rectangle with EF as length and FG as breadth ..

→ Length EF = AB - (AE + FB) = 120-(3.5+3.5) = 113m

Similarly,

→ Breadth FG = BC - (FB+GC) = 85-7 = 78m .

Hence

And grass was only inside Rectangle Here ,

Hence,

\textbf{Total cost of covering the area} \\ \textbf{By Grass is:-} = \\ \\ \red\longrightarrow \: \: 8814 \times 50 \: paise \\ \\ \red\longrightarrow \: 8814 \times \frac{1}{2} \\ \\ \red\longrightarrow \: \pink{\large\boxed{\boxed{\bold{Rs.4407}}}} \:

So, Total cost of Painted the grass was Rs.4407...

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(length + Breadth)

→ Diagonal of Reactangle = √(l²+b²)

→ The diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other.

→ if path is outside the rectangle , we have to add 2×(width of path) to get, outside Rectangle Dimensions.....
