600 men consume 3600 kg ration in 24 days

800 men consume 3600 kg ration in 18 days

but the ration must last 20 days, so daily ration per man should be reduced.

if 3600 kg must last 20 days then for one day the whole 800 men must consume 180 kg of ration.

if 800 men consume 180 kg in one day the each man gets {180/800}kg of ration. that is 225 grams.

So 25 grams ration per man must be reduced so that the provisions may last 20 days.
