d-2.8
r-1.4
height of cylinder-5-2.8
2.2
volume of one gulab jamun- bol. of 2hemisphere+vol. of cylinder=22\7×1.4×1.4×122/30
vol. of 45gulab jamuns =×by 45 =22/7×1.4×1.4×122/30×45=1127.28
volume of sugar syrup=1127.28×30/100

Hey there !!

We have

Total length of the gulab jamun = 5 cm

length of the cylindrical part of gulab jamun = 5 cm - 2.8
= 2.2 cm

r =
 \frac{2.8}{2} \\  =  > 1.4 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{7}{5} cm
volume of one gulab jamun =
2 \times  \frac{2}{3} \pi \:  {r}^{3}  + \pi \:  {r}^{2} \: h \:  \\  \\  =  >   \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{7}{5}  \times  \frac{7}{5} ( \frac{4}{3}  \times  \frac{7}{5}  +   \frac{11}{5} ) \\  \\  =  >  \frac{154}{25} ( \frac{28}{15}  +  \frac{11}{5} ) \\  \\  =  > 6.16 \times  \frac{61}{15}  \\  \\  =  > 0.4107 \times 61 \\  \\  =  > 25.0527 \ {cm}^{3} \\  \\ volume \: of \: 45 \: gulab \: jamun \:  = 45 \times 25.05 \\  \\  =  > 1127.25 {cm}^{3}  \\  \\ according \: to \: the \: Question \:  \:  \\  \\  \frac{30}{100}  \times 1127.25 \\  \\  =  > 338.175 {cm}^{3}
Hope this would help u !!
