Answer :-

Given ,

50 Ohm is connected to 220 Volt line.

Current heater draws ,

v = ir

i = v/r

i = 220/50

i = 4.4 amp

Hope this helps

Given, 50 Ohm resistance is connected to the 220 Volt line.

According to the Ohm’s law, it states that the electric current is directly proportional to the voltage and is inversely proportional to the resistance.

According to the Ohm’s law, V= IR. The heater draws the current. By putting the value of R= 50 ohm, V= 220 Volt in V = IR, I = V/R, I= 220/50, I = 4.4 Amp.
