\bold{\underline{\rm{\pink{Given:-}}}}

  • Diameter of tank = 14m

  • Therefore, Radius of tank =  \sf{ \dfrac{14}{2} = 7m}

  • Pipe emptied at the rate of 5 liter.

\bold{\underline{\rm{\green{Solution:-}}}}

★ we first get the volume of hemisphere,

  • Formula:-  \sf{ \dfrac{2}{3} \pi r^3}

  • Volume:-  \sf{ \dfrac{2}{3} \times 3.142 \times 7 \times 7 \times 7}

\implies \sf{7.1847 m^3}

★ Conversion into liter:-

1 cubic metre = 1000 litres

\implies \sf{1000 \times 7.1847}

\implies \sf{7184.7 \; litres}

★ Time taken to empty the tank at 5 litres per minute.

\implies \sf{ \dfrac{7184.7}{5}}

\bold{\underline{\underline{\boxed{\sf{\red{\dag \; 1.43694 \; minutes}}}}}}
