A horse is tied with a rope in the centre of a
square lawn of size 20 cm. If the length of rope is
7 cm. Find the area of the lawn which the horse
can graze. Also, find the ungrazed area of the
lawn.

Given,

Length of the rope=7cm

Length of the side of the square lawn=20cm

To find the area grazed by the horse

Area=pi×r^2

=22/7×7×7

=154cm^2

To find the area not grazed by the horse

Area=Total area of the lawn - Area grazed by the horse

=20×20-154

=400-154

=246cm^2
