Hi.

1 kW H = 1kW * 1hour = 1000W * 3600s = 36 * 10⁵ or 3.6 * 10⁶ Joules.

1kWh = 1000W x 3600s
= 36 x 10^5Ws
= 3.6 × 10^6J.
