A is 2 years older than B A's father is twice as old as A and B is twice old as his sister C the ages of Cand D differ byy 40 years find the ages of Anad B...........!!!!

Age of B = x
Age of A = x+2
Age of A's father i.e D = 2(x+2)
Age of C = x/2
Age of D - Age of C = 40
∴ 2(x+2) - x/2 = 40
∴ 2x + 4 - x/2 =40
∴ 4x +8 -x/2 =40
∴ 4x + 8 -x = 80
∴ 3x +8 =80
∴3x = 72
∴ x = 24

∴Age of A = x+2 = 24+2 = 26 and age of B = x = 24
