a jet plane starts from rest and acquire final velocity of 720 km/hr .if the length of runway be 1km and the plane be uniformly accelerated on the runway ,then calculate the acceleration of jet plane.

Solution:-
It's given that,
Initial velocity=0
Final velocity=720km/h
 =  > 720 \times  \frac{5}{18}  \\  =  > 200
=>200m/s
Distance=1 km
 =  > 1000m
Acceleration=?

By using equation,that is:-
 =  >  {v}^{2}  =  {u}^{2}  + 2as \\ =  >   {(200)}^{2}  =  {(0)}^{2}  + 2 \times a \times 1000 \\ =  >  40000 = 2000a
 =  > a =  \frac{40000}{2000}  \\  =  > a = 20
Hence,the Acceleration=20m/s^2
